My name is Shawn Shroyer and I have a passion for blockchain technologies and the utility they provide in terms of decentralized, scalable information systems. I graduated from Penn State with my B.S. in Information Sciences and Technology in three years and I have 13 years total of programming experience. Before my career in blockchain, I was a software/DevOps engineer for a security company, practicing secure web app development and penetration testing. During this time my interest in blockchain grew and I transitioned careers. Since then, I have worked on various Web3 projects, including: tokens, NFTs, Web3 games, and custom smart contracts.

A self taught programmer that started with the Z80 assembly language. As a teenager he used to send demos to magazines (some of which were published). Eventually one of them asked him to make a full game at age 14 and has been shipping games ever after, sealing his fate for eternity. *“Moons have passed as I worked across the board on most languages/platforms/systems. Still love the challenges and I am still the kid who enjoys every release like it’s the first time seeing his name in a magazine.*”
